Tom Sawyer

I believe that one of the factors that makes a piece of literature or even a movie a masterpiece is how well the reader can relate to the story. This is definitely a book everyone can relate to. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary masterpieces, written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is a mischievous young boy who lives in the small town on the Mississippi River called St. Petersburg. The story line is simple, the book reads like a biography or a memoir of a summer in Tom Sawyer's life. Tom Sawyer seems to be the precursor of and the template for misfit kids such as Dennis the Menace, Malcolm in the Middle, and Calvin and Hobbs. What makes this story great is that Tom Sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood. The book is filled with Tom's adventures playing pirates and war with his friend Joe Harper. Tom has a trusted friend, Huck Finn, who few of the adults approve of. The book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child. It is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood. The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms (which I'm sure uses terms even young children already know), the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. When you more grow up, you can more think these silly matters are interesting. I said the childhood likes pot sweet wine, when separates more for a long time, tastes fragrant, is purer, more let the person aftertaste.

Now, I am a thirty five-year-old person. I always believe that I am an idiot especially to learn every things and to communicate with everyone. Sometime I felt taht my spoken nobody understant. So, I think communicate that seem very hard for me. But, I think that it is never too old to learn. Everything must to keep learning that is in my this ages, I think. Including learn English that my English is not good. But, I like English. Because I can communicate with foreigner and go abroad along that see people from different countries. That is pretty exciting. Ihave studied English for a long time, but of course I still have some trouble with conversation. Since I came to Lunghwa University which I felt my English ability to get to abimprove obvious.

What is something you want to learn?

What do I want to learn? Hmm. First of all, learning English is more important that I know learning English is not short time can be. I mean that to set up a pole and see its shadow. Second, I want to learn how to play guitar. I learn to play guitar with my friend when I was senior high school student. I never became very good at it. Because, I did not have enough patient and guitar 's line to made my finger hurt. But, I really like music. Now, if I have a chance to learn guitar that I do not scared hurt. If I could play guitar, I will sing a song myself that when I was lonely. If I could play guitar, I will play guitar with girls. So I think that if I had enough time to study guitar, I would probably take it more seriously. Learning English is also very important that no matter what happen, I will keep learning until older.

Which season of the year do you favorite?

Of course, I like summer the best. In Taipei, it is very hot. But, I used to go swimming that I usually go to the swimming pool or go to the beach. I went swimming all years which I have free time. In summer, it is such a nice feeling to jump into the water on a hot summer day. Even on the hot days, the wather was so cool and felt comfortable. I would relax and float in the wather. Another reason is look at the eye candy. Ha Ha Ha..., No matter anywhere which you can see many hot chick on the street, swimming pool, and the beach. Especialy in swimming pool or at the beach where there are many bikini girls. Wow... It is really look at the eye candy. But, if you go to the beach that will get a lot of sun. The next day it makes your skin hurt and you have to prevent get a lot sun. So, summer has been my favorite season. Wu...

Korean foods, bibimbap and kimchi

An authentic Korean meal is truly delicious foods. One delicious, lively dish is bibimbap,which is usually served in a stone bowl. There are chicken, red peppers, ginger, garlic, green onion, soy sauce, rice vinger, and white bean sprouts inside the bowl make bibmbap very colorful. And as the steaming food is stirred, white rice touches the hot bowl, making a popping sound. To ensure that they'd have food for the winter, Koreans long ago learn the art of preserving foods. This is how Korean's national, kimchi, was develpoed. The kichi is rich in vitamins and good for body, but it is popular worldwide mainly because it is celicious. In the past, korean also believe that spicy food helps warm their bodies during harsh winter. Nowadays, many Koreans eat kimchi with every meal.

Dragon Boat Festival's legend

The White Snake is about how things are sometimes different than they appear. The story tells of a snake who falls in love with a name Xu-Xian. To be with Xu, the snake uses magic to change herself into a woman named Bai Suzhen.
When Xu-meets Bai, they get married. Bai soon learns that she is goingto have a baby. But a monk, Fahai, know that Bai is really a snake. He decides to tell Xu. On Dragon Boat Festival, Xu gives Bai some wine which makes her become a snake again. Xu is so surprised that he dies. Bai suzhen soon turns back into a woman. Then a god gives her a magic mushroom which brings Xu-Xian back to life, Bai tells Xu that she is really a snake. But Xu still loves her and agrees never to leave her. Fahai, however, still thinks Bai is bsd. He does not believe snakes can ever changr. Fahai takes Xu away so he will be safe from Bai. Bau uses her magic to fill Fahai's temple with water and free Xu.

Leaving is to anticipate next reunion

Today, I am very happy that I ate dinner with my coworkers whom are my good friends and partner. There are many coworkers attend the dinner party. One of them is my manager who is more care me. We ate dinner party together. I thank for everyone whom attend the dinner and share experience each other in work. So, we are very fun at night.

The restaurant that is sold Thai food which I think not very delicious. In fact, thai food that is sweet, sour, salty, and spicy, all at once. This makes it very delicious. But the restaurant which I think too different. Although the foods are not delicious, but we talk each other and take pictures. Sometime ate dinner just a reason, meeting friends who is a very happy things.

I anticipate seeing everyone.

Iam a office worker who have worked in Landbank Of Taiwan Su-Lin branch since 1999. There are many memories in my mind. I have many friends who are accompany me grew up in there. I have a good friendship with them.I think that how many ten-years in a life. Today is May 19th 2009. I almost cried in morning's conference which I want to say my felling during the ten years. Because I have to go away and leave for head office that is my new work's place. I have leave my coworkers which are my very good friend. They treat me very good. In fact, I have worked in Su-Lin branch which I have had feel tired. My coeorks who are very young. So, we are very happy work together. Another reason is that you can see the picture, many young girls around me, I am very happyness. This is my first time which there are many girls around me. I anticipate seeing everyone again. My favorite sport

My favorite sport are tennis and swimming. My first time play tennis that is studied in two -year-college's PE class. Then I love tennis very much. When I was a two-year-college student and after school I played tennis every day. Now, I have to work and go to school that I almost do not have enough time to play tennis. Sometime I play tennis with my cowork in national holiday or watched tennis race on TV. Because I really like to play tennis.

Two years ago, I did not swim. In 2007 summer that is very hot everyday, even night. It is really hot all day and I do not know that where I can go. So, I try to go to swimming pool. But I can not swimming. I am fortunate that I meet a older uncle who is taught me to swim. He taught me swim skill that I am more and more practiced in breast-stroke. An idiom say" Where there is a will, there is a way. Nowadays, when I have free time and felt tired. I will play tennis or go swimming.

今日は母の日 おめでとう ございます。Today is Mother's Day and Happy Mother's Day!

Today is Mother's Day. I want to tell her," Happy Mother's Day" in Japanese is "母の日　おめでとう　ございます。"
My mother is fifty-nine years old which is a loyal buddhist. So, she is a vegetarain who has been vegetarian for twenty years. She is also a volunteer who is work once a week in National Taiwan University Hospital. She help serious patient to eat and to washed body. On the every weekend, She go to the temple to be a volunteer in Tu-Cheng city. She has four child who both are all boys. So my parent are very hard to raise us, especially is my mother. When I was child, she works hard every day which then cooked dinner and washed clothes. She encourages us when we fail and takes care of us day and night. Now, we are grew up that is an adult person, but she care for us never interrupted.
For me, she is not only a mother, but also a loyal buddhist and volunteer. My mother is the best thing in my life. I will lover her forever. Today is Mother's Day, I want to tell her, "Happy Mother's Day!" in Japanese is "母の日　おめでとう　ございます。" I wish her always happy and healthy.

My niece

I have a niece who is eleven years old. Her name is Yolanda who has studying fourth grade elementary school in Yungho city Taipei county. Today is May 5thher that is her birthday. After work, I bought some things to celebrate. I bought a box of chocolate cookie, a bottle of juice, a bottle of milk, a ice cream cake, etc. We sang a birthday's song for her. She was very happy. We wish her always safe grow up and healthy. When she was a bably, I usually held her in the arms, but I can not hold her in the arms now. Because she has grown up and growing fat. Our relationship as like a brother with sister than a uncle with a niece. I have doting on her. Maybe is the fact that I did not had a sister. The time pass fast, I am very happy that she safe grow up every day.

How best to cope with New Influenza

Here are some useful tips doctors recommend to keep you safe from new influenza, which is also called 'H1N1 flu'.
Frist of all, do not touch your nose, mouth or eyes. People almost unconsciously touch their nose, mouth or eyes two to three times a minute. Those who have allergies may touch more often. Hands may carry the H1N1 virus that will get into their nostrils, mouth, or eyes.
Second, wash your hands as often as possible. Washing hands is one of the best ways to keep you safe. Close to 90 percent of the H1N1 virus you may have in your hands can be washed away. Be sure to wet hands, use soap or handwashing lotion to rub the palms and backs of the hand thoroughly for 20 seconds, and wash and rinse before you scoop water from the tap with your hands and hold the water for a few more seconds. You should then dry your hands thoroughly with tissue paper or clean towel. Hands should be washed immediately after returning home or arriving at work following a bus or train ride. aIf no tap-washing is available, people may use sanitized tissue paper. Finally, do not shake hands and buy ordinary masks. Handshakes may pass on the H1N1 virus. Doctors endorse Wang's recommendation as a way to keep away from new influenza. There's no need to buy surgical masks that are expensive and intended for use by surgeons and their nurses. Wear masks while you are exposed in public. Once back at home or in the office, you need not wear masks any more. The masks can stop the H1N1 virus from getting into your nostrils and open mouth.
There are some recipes that may strengthen your immunity, but doctors' advice is important in choosing them and taking the necessary doses at the right time.

Labor Day

Thousands of workers took to the streets of Taipei yesterday to demand that the government provide stable job opportunities and respect laborers' rights amid record-high unemployment rates. In observance of Labor Day, demonstrators marched outside the Presidential Office and nearby government buildings in a protest organized by the Taiwan Confederation of Trade Unions. “We want jobs! We want dignity!” and “No outsourcing! We want protection!” chanted the protesters, which included white-collar and blue-collar workers both employed and unemployed, some of whom brought along their family members. Taiwan's unemployment rate continue rising in March. Many opople have been unemployed for a long time. The student is unemployed after graduation from college. Our government should bring ways to slove these problem.
