There is a beautiful island located in south-eastern coast fo Taiwan. Her name called Lanyu, or Orchid Island. In the past there were a lot of orchids growing there. Lanyu is very different from the rest of Taiwan where the Yami people live there. I knew that the Yami people speak their language. Many of them still live like they did long ago. A lot of Yami house are half underground that protect Yami people from typhoons. The Yami people lead a simple life and fishing is very important to them. When you come to Lanyu Island which you can see the fishermen to make beautiful boats from trees. They believe launching these into the sea males their fishing lucky.During on March and July that is Yami people celebrate flying fish season.
Lanyu Island is also the perfect place where the wather is so clear and quiet place close to nature. So,we should not tranferred nuclear waste material to Lanyu Island.
