East coast of Taiwan

Many miles away from the noisy city, you are riding along a quiet road. You are feeling free and easy. There are green mountains to your right and bule sea to your left. You are traveling down the east coast of Taiwan, the last untouched land left on the island.

Part of the quiet beauty of this place comes from the many strange rocks along the coast.

You can walk along a line of rocks that looks like an elephant's trunk and check out the Baxian caves, where people lived during the Stong Age.

After looking at the rocks, you may want to do something different. You can take a big boat out to sea to watch whales swimming. Or something more exciting, try rafting on the Xiuguluan River.
